Main Responsibilities

1. Field responsibility for environmental drilling and exploratory trenches;
2. Environmental sampling of soils, groundwater, biogas, and residual materials according to current guidelines;
3. Supervision of excavation work and contaminated soil management;
4. Drafting and completing site and technical reports for each visit;
5. Reporting technical questions to the project manager or coordinator;
6. Conducting permeability tests and other onsite measurements;
7. Coordinating and verifying inventory of instruments and proper functioning of equipment;
8. Adhering to current safety measures;

Skills and Requirements

1. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in environmental site characterization (Phases I-II-III) and/or environmental remediation;
2. Knowledge of soil identification;
3. Possession of a valid health and safety ASP card;
4. Rigorous, organized, punctual, and team-oriented;
5. Experience in geotechnics (an asset);
6. Valid driver's license;

Education

• DEC in environmental techniques or relevant training;
