Main Responsibilities

• Fieldwork for environmental drilling and exploratory trenches;
• Environmental sampling of soils, groundwater, biogas, and residual materials according to current guidelines;
• Supervision of excavation works and contaminated soil management;
• Writing and completing technical site reports for each visit;
• Reporting technical questions to the project manager or coordinator;
• Conducting permeability tests and other field measurements;
• Coordinating and verifying instrument inventory and equipment functionality;
• Adhering to safety measures in force.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in environmental site characterization (Phases I-II-III) and/or environmental remediation;
• Knowledge of soil identification;
• Possession of a valid ASP health and safety card;
• Rigorous, organized, punctual, and team-oriented personality;
• Experience in geotechnics (an asset);
• Valid driver's license.

Education

• DEC in environmental techniques or other relevant training.
