Responsibilities

• Cash Flow Management :
• Maintain and update cash flow forecasts, reconcile daily balances, and monitor deposits, withdrawals, and discrepancies.
• Ensure payment schedules are up to date and proactively flag issues with payment delays or cash shortfalls.
• Transaction Recording & Reconciliation :
• Record and categorize sales, expenses, and payment transactions across all brands in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and clearing accounts regularly and resolve any discrepancies.
• Track accounts payable, forecast upcoming payments, and ensure timely processing of vendor invoices, credit card settlements, and advertising expenses.
• Compile and record monthly sales data from Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, and Affirm.
• Track transaction fees, taxes, and manual payments, ensuring accurate and complete revenue recognition.
• Inventory & Product Reporting :
• Maintain SKU-level sales reporting by breaking down bundled items and updating product data for monthly and trend analysis.
• Tax Preparation & Compliance :
• Ensure accurate sales tax recording and documentation for timely filing with Revenu Québec and other authorities.
• Monitor CTI / RTI on shipping and other taxable expenses.
• Maintain up-to-date records in spreadsheets, platforms, and financial tools.
• Collaborate with other teams to validate data, support financial inquiries, and provide reliable reporting inputs.
• Monitor and respond to incoming accounting-related communications.
• Collaborate with customer service, warehouse, and marketing teams to clarify financial transactions or support cross-functional tasks.
• Intercompany reconciliation :
• Compare all intercompany cash transfers and other transactions between companies to make sure balance offset and payments / expenses are recorded correctly.
• Audit & Period-End Support :
• Assist in audit preparation and year-end closing by compiling supporting documentation, reconciliations, and financial summaries.

Qualifications

• DEC or AEC in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, ideally in e-commerce or a multi-entity environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel / Google Sheets, and cloud-based finance tools.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage recurring responsibilities efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
• Bilingual (English and French) is required to ensure clear communication with our internal and external partners.
