Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Bromont, QC is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems and infrastructure.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, carry out repairs, and support safety and quality standards while coordinating with external contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional or technical training in building maintenance, building mechanics, electromechanics, or related field.
• Relevant experience in maintenance of buildings.
• General knowledge of electricity, plumbing, mechanical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
• Ability to read plans, diagrams and technical manuals.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomy, resourcefulness and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders.
• Commitment to quality and safety.
• Valid driver’s license, when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ventilation and heating issues.
• Carry out minor repairs and general upkeep: doors, locks, walls, ceilings and floors.
• Monitor heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Coordinate repairs with suppliers or specialists when needed.
• Keep maintenance logs, work orders and intervention reports up to date.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and keep work areas clean and safe.

Technicien(ne) de maintenance bâtiment - JLL

Sommaire du poste

Le ou la technicien(ne) de maintenance bâtiment assure l’entretien préventif et correctif des installations, des équipements et des infrastructures du bâtiment. Il ou elle intervient afin de maintenir les lieux sécuritaires, fonctionnels et en bon état, tout en répondant rapidement aux demandes de maintenance.

Principales responsabilités

• Effectuer l’entretien préventif et correctif des bâtiments et des équipements.
• Diagnostiquer les problèmes mécaniques, électriques, de plomberie, de ventilation et de chauffage.
• Effectuer des travaux de réparation et d’entretien général : portes, serrures, murs, plafonds, planchers, luminaires, mobilier, etc.
• Assurer le suivi des systèmes de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation (CVAC).
• Effectuer des travaux mineurs de plomberie, selon ses compétences et les normes applicables.
• Inspecter régulièrement les installations afin de détecter les anomalies, bris ou situations pouvant présenter un risque pour la sécurité.
• Répondre aux demandes de service et aux urgences liées aux installations.
• Effectuer les réparations ou coordonner l’intervention de fournisseurs et d’entrepreneurs spécialisés lorsque nécessaire.
• Tenir à jour les registres d'entretien, les bons de travail et les rapports d'intervention.
• Effectuer les travaux dans le respect des règles de santé et sécurité au travail.
• Maintenir les espaces de travail propres et sécuritaires après chaque intervention.
• Participer à différents projets d'amélioration, de rénovation ou de modification des installations.
• Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe liée à l'entretien des bâtiments.

Exigences et compétences

• Formation professionnelle ou technique pertinente en maintenance de bâtiment, mécanique du bâtiment, électromécanique ou domaine connexe.
• Expérience pertinente en entretien et maintenance de bâtiments.
• Connaissances générales en électricité, plomberie, mécanique, chauffage, ventilation et climatisation.
• Capacité à lire des plans, des schémas et des manuels techniques.
• Bonne capacité de diagnostic et de résolution de problèmes.
• Autonomie, débrouillardise et sens de l'organisation.
• Bonne capacité à travailler en équipe et à communiquer avec les différents intervenants.
• Souci de la qualité du travail et de la sécurité.
• Permis de conduire valide, lorsque requis par le poste.
