Here are the responsibilities you will undertake as a Technicien laboratoire:

• Participate in formulation development and study of road materials: aggregates, bituminous mixes, cold processes, bitumen emulsions, and modified bitumen;
• Read and interpret calibration procedures and testing standards;
• Calibrate laboratory equipment;
• Write various reports and forms;
• Follow quality, health, safety, and environmental programs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Possesses a DEC in civil engineering or laboratory techniques with 3 years of experience; or a DEP in civil engineering with 5 years of experience;
• Has advanced proficiency in French;
• Has intermediate spoken and written English, especially comprehension (reading standards in English);
• Demonstrates resourcefulness and motivation;
• Is well-organized, rigorous, and autonomous;
• Has a good team spirit.
