BGIS is seeking a General Repair Technician to operate and maintain facility mechanical and other systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and manage work orders to ensure uptime and asset integrity.
The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and high-quality service delivery. Candidates should have a high school diploma with trades training or licensing and at least 3 years of HVAC/related systems experience, with BAS knowledge and a strong safety
The General Repair Technician is responsible for operating the facility including, but not limited to mechanical other supporting systems; performing structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical equipment and other systems. The Technician III is also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection.
Troubleshooting
• Provides observations about facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment, and systems conditions and deficiencies and provides suggestions for enhancement and repair.
Must be capable of obtaining appropriate security clearance
This is a regular, full-time position with an hourly range of $27.79 - $34.73 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
