POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Electronics Technician based in Montreal, Qc. The Electronics Technician is responsible for providing technical support for production, especially at the level of production-related testing equipment. This support includes software programming on embedded systems and computers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Analyze failures in production to obtain the root causes.
• Investigate the returns of defective products from internal and external customers.
• Drafting and presenting reports showing the root causes of failures.
• Support electronic production with regards to the programming, methods and analysis of electronic test equipment processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French. English required for communications with teams or suppliers outside Quebec.
• The capacity to read electrical schematics.
• Capacity to detect flaws using measurement devices (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Familiarity with a range of technologies, including digital, analog, microprocessors, etc.
