Job summary

Join Dilawri Group of Companies at Infiniti North Calgary as an Automotive Journeyman Technician. You will work on a range of vehicles, performing pre-delivery inspections, diagnostics, and high-quality maintenance to dealership standards.

The successful candidate brings a trade certification or is a 3rd/4th year apprentice, with a valid license and a clean driving record. Experience with import, European, or luxury brands is a plus, and a strong team-oriented, customer-focused mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician trade certification or 3rd/4th/4th year apprenticeship.
• Experience with import/European/Luxury vehicles is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (tires, tools, equipment).
• Growth mindset, collaborative, and respectful teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality workmanship, diagnostics and maintenance per standards.
• Perform new vehicle Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) to factory standards.
• Report deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
• Refer to images/videos to identify repairs.
• Road test to verify repairs are completed properly.
• Provide service advisors with maintenance and repair estimates.
• Record cause and correction in dealership software on repair orders.
• Complete technician portion and related inspection forms.
• Follow manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.

PositionOverview

We are looking for anAutomotive Journeyman Techniciantojoin our team atInfiniti North Calgary.The successful candidateis someonewho is passionate about the automotive industry andeager to contribute to our growing team.

PrimaryDuties and Responsibilities

• Maintaininga high quality of workmanship, diagnostics and maintenance repair as perrequired standards.
• Performingnew vehicle Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) to factory standards.
• Reportingall mechanical or safety related deficiencies not noted on the repairorder.
• Referringto images and/or videos provided by the customer or service advisor toassist in identifying repairs needed.
• Performingroad tests to identify issues and subsequently confirms repairs arecompleted to a satisfactory level.
• Providingservice advisors with a summary of additional maintenance and/or requiredwork that needs to be performed.
• Providingservice advisors with accurate parts and labour estimates throughutilizing our dealership software.
• Accuratelyrecording the cause and correction of the issue in our dealership softwareon customer repair orders.
• Completingthe Technician portion and related inspection forms.
• Maintainingand follows manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.

QualificationsRequired

• AutomotiveService Technician Trade certification. We would consider an outstanding3rd or 4th year Apprentice Technician with the right attitude and desireto learn.
• Experiencewith Import, European or Luxury vehicles is an asset.
• Youhave a valid Driver’s license and provide a clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Abilityto carefully and safely drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
• Abilityto lift and carry heavy items and equipment such as tires, tools andequipment.
• Youhave a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing yourskills.
