Qualifications

  • 1+ years of technical field experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary.
  • Sales background preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations.
  • Install and repair telecommunications services for customers.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of fiber and copper networks.

Aecon Technical Solutions Inc. employs highly skilled technicians to perform telecommunications infrastructure installations. Whether in a residential, commercial, institutional, or hospitality environment, ATSI is able to assist clients with their telecommunications installation needs.

What You'll Do Here

  • Must be safety conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations for IPTV, Internet and Phone Service in customers’ homes and businesses.
  • Install and repair support for Phone, Internet and TV transported over fiber networks
  • Be able to offer customers Products that may help better their experience
  • Troubleshooting and repair support for IPTV, Internet and Phone Service transported over fiber, copper
  • Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis
  • Provision and maintain outside plant facilities, including buried and aerial fiber and copper networks.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal direction
  • Highly Adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures
  • Working at heights in different spaces in accordance with provincial and federal guideline


What You Bring To The Team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ years of technical field experience.
  • Experience with GPON, Copper and SHS is an asset.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Experience with upselling Home Services - Internet, Phone.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, all seasons
  • Maintain a valid provincial driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract quarterly
  • Must be willing to travel and work in various locations
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Comfortable working with computers
  • Evening, Weekend and Holiday work is required
  • Sales background preferred but not a must


The compensation for this role is based on a piecework model and an hourly training rate of $22.00.
