Woodbine Nissan in Etobicoke, Ontario is seeking a full-time Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our growing Service Department. If you take pride in doing the job right and work efficiently in a busy environment, this is the place for you.

You will work with modern Nissan vehicles, be supported by a skilled Service, Parts and Management team, and have opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Ontario 310S licence valid.
• Ontario Class G driver's licence.
• Nissan dealership experience is an asset.
• Experience with import vehicles is an asset.
• Strong mechanical, technical and diagnostic abilities.
• Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to dealer and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical and customer-reported concerns.
• Communicate required repairs and timelines with Service Advisors.
• Complete warranty repairs with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Parts to ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of vehicles during repair.
• Stay current with vehicle technology and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized working environment.
• Follow health and safety requirements and safety procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

• - Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs efficiently and accurately while meeting dealership and manufacturer standards.
• - Inspect and diagnose vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical and customer-reported concerns.
• - Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate additional required repairs, recommendations and any changes to expected completion times.
• - Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer requirements and provide accurate documentation to support warranty claims.
• - Collaborate with the Parts Department to confirm availability and timely delivery of parts required for repairs.
• - Perform road tests when required to verify repairs and ensure vehicles meet our quality standards before being returned to customers.
• - Maintain the cleanliness and condition of customer vehicles throughout the repair process.
• - Stay current with evolving vehicle technology, diagnostic procedures and manufacturer requirements through ongoing training.
• - Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• - Follow all Occupational Health and Safety requirements, dealership policies and established safety procedures, including the proper use of required safety equipment.

• Previous Nissan dealership experience is an asset
• Experience working with import vehicles is considered an asset
• Strong mechanical, technical and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to diagnose both mechanical and electrical concerns
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Own required hand tools
