What are your contributions to the team?

  • Research, plan, write, and QC technical, maintenance, or operational data from multiple sources, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Identify and implement process and product improvements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Plan, perform, and document procedural validations, recommending optimal resource use.
  • Address customer and operator requests and issues satisfactorily.
  • Coordinate and define publication plans.
  • Establish standards for documentation creation and distribution in electronic formats (e.g., S1000D, ATA).
  • Assess and develop action plans to minimize risks in publication completion.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in aerospace or a related field, or have at least three years of relevant experience in Technical Publications.
  • Background in aircraft maintenance, flight crew, or as a pilot is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; SAP is an asset.
  • Understanding of Technical Publications processes and technologies; knowledge of S1000D and ATA specifications, HTML, SGML, and XML is an asset.
  • Experience in product development and troubleshooting in high-tech environments is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Bombardier Customer Services and Support or Aerospace Engineering Systems is an asset.
