Job Title: Technical Support - Baggage Applications

Job Summary:
Resolve and troubleshoot issues related to Baggage Applications used in airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support baggage-related applications to ensure smooth handling and tracking of luggage.
- Complete Transport Canada clearance; a valid driver's license is preferred.
- Work in rotational continental shifts.
- Experience in airport/aviation operations is a plus.
- Serve as the primary contact for IT issues.
- Work on automation initiatives and system enhancements.
System Maintenance and Monitoring
- Monitor baggage handling systems (BHS) regularly.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Monitor alerts and escalate issues as needed.
Application Support
- Provide technical support for baggage applications.
- Resolve user-reported issues or bugs.
- Offer 24/7 operational support, including weekends and holidays on rotational shifts.
Data Management
- Manage and analyze baggage handling data to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with airlines, ground staff, and other departments.
- Communicate system updates and issues effectively.
- Coordinate with IT groups and vendors for application services.
Documentation
- Create and maintain system procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure operations comply with safety regulations.
- Implement safety protocols to protect staff and luggage.
- Manage system architectures and handle Disaster Recovery drills.
- Respond to baggage incidents and implement corrective actions.
System Upgrades and Improvements
- Participate in system upgrade planning and implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements.
Required Skills: Airport Operations Support experience related to Baggage Applications.
