Job description

Technical Solutions Executive, Construction, Canada (Remote)

Position Overview

As a Territory Technical Solutions Executive (TSE), you will play a key role in Autodesk's global construction sales success. Your mission is to transform the construction industry by partnering with AMER Territory Sales Executives to demonstrate how the Autodesk platform can meet customer challenges. With experience from the AEC industry, you will connect with clients, identify their needs, develop strategies, and showcase the value of our solutions. This is a remote position, based in the eastern US, reporting to the technical sales manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Account Sales Collaboration: Work with sales teams to close new deals and grow existing accounts, participate in team meetings and strategy sessions.
  2. Expansion Planning: Create technical expansion plans aligned with revenue goals and customer initiatives, demonstrating how Autodesk Construction Cloud meets technical requirements.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Develop deep understanding of client processes and needs, ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to deployment, and establish trust.
  4. Technical Discovery and Demonstration: Collaborate with clients and account teams to finalize sales, manage evaluations, define solutions architecture, and deliver product demos.
  5. Collaboration: Build relationships within the sales team, coordinate with deployment, marketing, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Internal Leadership: Share best practices, mentor new TSEs, participate in strategic initiatives and professional associations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Over 5 years of experience in the AEC industry
  • Experience as a foreman, project manager, superintendent, or similar role
  • Experience with SaaS technology and sales
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows for diverse AEC audiences
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for client and internal meetings
