Job summary

Keyera is seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst based in Calgary to support enterprise corporate systems, including IBM Maximo, and collaborate across facilities and teams. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and develop solutions while engaging with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Safety, and Legal.

The role offers growth within the DD&T group, with opportunities to enhance business knowledge and deliver meaningful technical outcomes for Keyera’s operations.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with ITIL, COBIT, ITSM frameworks.
  • Strong SQL or Oracle database experience.
  • Understanding of technical architecture principles.
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, or C.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of the corporate systems and assist users.
  • Manage user security setups, data exports and imports.
  • Troubleshoot applications, integrations and databases.
  • Collaborate with vendors to deliver system upgrades and fixes.
  • Design and develop technical solutions for corporate system improvements.
  • Review design and technical documentation for consistency with standards.
  • Build strong working relationships with DD&T colleagues and business partners.

THE POSITION

Keyera is seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst to join the Enterprise Technology Delivery team within the Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) group. The Enterprise Technology Delivery team primarily supports Keyera’s Corporate applications and IBM Maximo (enterprise asset management software). These systems are utilized to support a wide range of business teams including: Facility Operations, Asset Management & Reliability, Finance & Supply Chain Management, Safety, Environment & Regulatory, Sustainability, Legal and more As a Technical Solutions Analyst, this individual will deliver day-to-day support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing development of various corporate systems. The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with teams across Keyera to build business knowledge and develop meaningful solutions. This position is based in our Calgary office and occasional travel to Keyera sites may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In collaboration with other team members, support day-to-day operations of the corporate systems, including: General user inquires and support User and security setup Data exports and imports Application, integration, and database troubleshooting Infrastructure and application performance management Partner with team members and vendors to deliver system upgrades Design and develop technical solutions for corporate system improvements and fixes Participate in the review of design and technical documentation delivered by projects and peers to ensure consistency of solutions and alignment to Keyera’s technical standards Build strong working relationships with DD&T colleagues and business partners
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of supporting and working with enterprise corporate systems Experience working within IT operational frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.) and ITSM tools Relational databases (SQL or Oracle) – ability to combine and manipulate data sets using SQL Understanding of technical architecture principles Knowledge of structured programming languages (Java/Python/C)
