Position Overview

The Field Technical Services Representative – Student assists in managing product quality while promoting products, concrete knowledge, and Company image to customers. The role involves soliciting, serving, and nurturing clients, as well as supporting continuous improvement and maintaining our Internal Quality System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Visit job sites, perform ongoing CSA & ASTM concrete and raw materials testing, and record test data applying statistical quality control procedures.
2. Promote value-added products and collect market and job information.
3. Supervise and plan for efficient use of materials, equipment, and personnel.
4. Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards or procedures.
5. Review and supervise the work of third-party Concrete Testing Services.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program or similar.
• Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel).
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors.
• Construction field experience is an asset.
• Valid G2 or G class driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
