JLR invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Timmins or Sudbury offices to work within the Electrical group on multidisciplinary projects.

The role emphasizes design, project management, and contract administration for industrial/mining type projects, mentoring engineers, and developing proposals. You will collaborate with a strong technical team and contribute to client outcomes while growing your career in northern Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Designing, coordinating, managing projects, and administering contracts during construction of industrial/mining projects.
• Leveraging your specialized electrical experience in industrial infrastructure/processes and/or mining markets.
• Assisting with workload management to meet deadlines and align deliverables with client expectations.
• Participating in proposals and development of estimates for engineering services.
• Applying electrical fundamentals, including software tools application and verification.
• Preparing accurate, clearly written, organized technical reports.
• Mentoring junior engineers, graduates, and technologists.
• Collaborating with an integrated team of engineers, technologists, and support staff on multidisciplinary projects.

We’ve opened a role in our Timmins or Sudbury offices for a talented, entrepreneurial Senior Electrical Engineer to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Electrical group.
