Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Rescue Supervisor/Instructor to manage and coordinate all operational functions of the rescue team. You will lead Technical Rescue courses, mentor personnel, and ensure safety and readiness.

You will develop plans, coordinate resources, and deliver training programs, while maintaining records, evaluating effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college in a related field with five years’ industrial experience or equivalent training; ten years’ industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor for Technical Rescue courses and mentor personnel.
• Develop and implement Rescue Action Plan.
• Coordinate and supervise all rescue groups.
• Deliver Technical Rescue training with assessments.
• Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Prepare briefings and situation reports for missions.
• Ensure equipment accountability and safety compliance.
• Oversee HR functions, coaching, and performance appraisals.
