Job summary

OnX is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager for a 6-month contract within a major financial institution in Toronto. This role involves leading technology implementation projects and supporting a finance transformation team while engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in project management within financial services, including a PMP certification and familiarity with both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience in Financial Services, especially with Big 5 Banks.
• Expertise in PM foundations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support finance transformation team and lead implementation/data acquisition projects.
• Present to senior stakeholders and manage steering committees.

OnX Canada is working with a major financial institution seeking a Technical Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract.

The required resource will support the finance transformation team and lead implementation and data acquisition projects.

Onsite Requirements: 2 Days per week in Toronto

Duration: 6 months (Extendable)

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives
• Previous Financial Services (Big 5 Bank) Experience
• Ability to handle technology implementation/data acquisition projects
• Experience managing technology and business stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills - able to present to senior level stakeholders, run meeting, steering committees
• Expert at PM foundations - Steering Committees, Project Charters, PM Plans, Governance
• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies
• PMP Certification
