Job summary

StartPro Corp. in Concord, Ontario, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead client engineering and game engagements on a full-time, in-person basis at our studio.

You will run two to three concurrent engagements, own the schedule and demos, read code to understand scope, and push back on unrealistic dates.

You'll coordinate the team to clear blockers, maintain post-launch support cadence, and ensure deliveries meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing software or game engagements at a studio or consultancy.
• Able to read a PR description and explain it back.
• Proven track record of shipping multiple concurrent engagements on or near schedule.

Job description

Technical project manager for client engineering and game engagements. Full-time, in-person at our Concord, ON studio.

You will run client engagements alongside the senior engineer or game developer leading the work — owning the schedule, the customer comms, the demo cadence, and the deliverables. You will not be a JIRA jockey. You are expected to read the code, understand the scope, and push back on bad scope when you see it.

• 04 Track record of shipping multiple concurrent engagements on or near schedule

Nice to have

• 01 Background as an engineer or designer before moving into PM
• 02 Experience with game studios or AR/VR client work
• 03 PMP / Scrum certifications are not required (but not harmful)
