Job summary

Arculen seeks a Technical Project Director to lead and deliver technical work for a Canadian nuclear services and engineering client. You will be the technical authority, delivering engineering scopes and coordinating with partners or subcontractors when larger work requires it.

You will help shape the standards and delivery approaches for the practice, with leadership handling commercial development so you can focus on technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on subject matter expert with experience in the Canadian nuclear sector.
• Backgrounds in fire protection engineering, mechanical or product design, probabilistic risk assessment and nuclear safety and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering scopes for clients as the technical authority.
• Coordinate with partners/subcontractors for larger scopes of work.
• Contribute technical input to bids and proposals and shape delivery standards for the practice.
• Lead delivery with a focus on technical excellence, with leadership overseeing commercial aspects to start.

Commercial and business development will be led by the leadership team, so you can focus on technical delivery, with a clear path to take on commercial ownership and team leadership as the practice grows.
