Job summary

Electronic Arts in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to coordinate large-scale engineering programmes focused on system reliability, scaling, and automation. You will define roadmaps, manage resources, and ensure delivery for PI&E internal operations.

You will report to the Director of Program Management and collaborate with PMO and engineering teams to drive AI-driven automation and streamline the SDLC framework in a hybrid remote/in-office setup.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed environments.
  • Experience applying enterprise AI tools in engineering projects, with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced JIRA and Monday.com capabilities.

Responsibilities

The Production Infrastructure & Engineering (PI&E) organisation provides the essential platforms and infrastructure hosting solutions that power EA's games and live services. Our charter is to make EA's games and services available to all players anytime and anywhere.

We aim to help developers experiment and build new games quickly with infrastructure services on-demand and workflows that promote rapid development in the cloud.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will coordinate large-scale, engineering programmes focused on system reliability, scaling, and automation. You will define and manage roadmaps, success criteria, resource allocation, and delivery needed for PI&E internal operations.

You will report to the Director of Program Management.

Responsibilities
  • You will manage programs that improve platform and team efficiency.
  • You will collaborate with PMO and engineering teams to build AI-driven automation that increases efficiency and streamlines the SDLC framework.
  • You will maintain project roadmaps with platform engineering teams and follow PMO governance.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management
  • Proficient experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) distributed environments, and cloud computing.
  • Demonstrated experience applying enterprise AI tools in engineering projects, with understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Advanced JIRA and Monday.com capabilities.
Bonus
  • Hands-on experience with Gemini Enterprise, Claude, and GitHub Copilot.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role based in Vancouver, BC for 12 months.

Compensation And Benefits

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES
  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$92,900 - $129,200 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
