Job summary

GuruLink seeks a hands-on software engineer to join its Toronto hub and help us scale a fast-growing product platform. You will own a high volume of well-scoped tickets, develop end-to-end features on the same stack as the team, and participate in interviews by coding tasks.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

A venture-backed, fast-growing software company serving industrial and manufacturing R&D teams is forming a new Toronto engineering hub and is hiring the class of 2027. This is an engineering-first product role for someone who is hands-on: you will own a high weekly volume of well-scoped tickets, each with an implementation plan, and you will be expected to write code, including during the interview process. You will work on the same web platform and stack as the engineering team. This is an in-person role in Toronto with a 2027 start date.

Must Have Skills:

Graduating in 2027 from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Computer Science or a closely related program; 2+ software development internships or co-op terms; strong coding ability; strong execution and ownership habits; comfort working in a fast-moving, engineering-led environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

Familiarity with Python (Flask), Postgres and React/TypeScript; interest in data-driven products for scientific or industrial users.
