Job summary

MDA Space Geointelligence is seeking a Technical Leadership Governance Lead to build and enable consistent technical leadership across Geointelligence projects in Richmond, Canada. This role focuses on governance, metrics, and practice development within a three-member Engineering Governance team.

In this position you will assess current capability, define training plans, and drive adoption of standardized leadership practices with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Team Leads to improve

Qualifications

Experience building governance practices, metrics and communities of practice.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills.

Responsibilities

Define, maintain, and evolve a governance framework for technical leadership across all Geointelligence projects.
Establish governance metrics and report on leadership effectiveness and project delivery impact.
Lead the implementation of governance improvements with practical, collaborative approaches.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, and Team Leads to align technical leadership with project objectives.
Lead training and capability-building activities for Technical Leads and Team Leads.
