Job summary

Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies Inc. subsidiary, is seeking a Technical Leader for Space & Defense to guide multiple projects from concept through delivery.

You will coordinate sensor and camera development, work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, and ensure adherence to customer specifications and risk management. The role requires broad expertise across systems, electronics, mechanical design, and optics, with a strong emphasis on CMOS image sensors and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Physics/Nanotechnology/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of design/development experience.
• Experience leading technical projects in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with Space systems or CCD/CMOS image sensors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Program Manager and technical team to execute on project deliverables and manage technical risk.
• Provide customer technical support and aid in the integration of the sensor into customer electronics.
• Interface with Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Electronics, CMOS, etc., to ensure technical specifications are met.
• Coordinate sensor & camera build activities, environmental/acceptance testing, and review TRR reports/analysis with Test Engineering.

As the Technical Leader of one or more projects, you will be responsible for their overall technical success by ensuring the final product meets customer specifications, and ensuring technical risk is managed/mitigated. Working hand-in-hand with the Project Manager, you will lead a team that may include sensor/electronics/mechanical design specialists, process engineers, and test specialists.
