Job summary

Candu Energy Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer (Industrial Valves & Actuators) to supervise engineers, develop technical reports, specifications, and tender packages for nuclear power projects.

You will lead a team of valve engineers in a fast-paced matrix organization and ensure design integrity across nuclear and non-nuclear applications. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering degree, a P.Eng in Ontario, and 15–20 years in senior roles with at least 5 years as a

Qualifications

Engineering degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited university.
Licensed Professional Engineer (Ontario) with current status.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the engineering work for valves and actuators, review technical reports and specifications.
Prepare and review technical tender packages, vendor interface, and bid evaluations.
Support manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and site activities as required.
Interface with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure design compliance with codes and standards.
Prepare detailed technical reports and project schedules, track KPIs (cost and schedule).
Ensure compliance with CSA/ASME/API and other codes and standards relevant to nuclear and process plants.
