Position Summary:

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of software engineers. The team will be responsible for designing and developing financial products and features for our customers across iOS, Android, and web. In this role, you will work closely with product, design, infrastructure and cross functional teams. We are looking for someone who can not only lead the team but can also be hands-on.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team of skilled mobile and web engineers delivering user-friendly engineering solutions
• Define solution architecture to include evaluation, selection and integration of necessary technical components that realize the defined functional, non-functional and security requirements.
• Get hands-on coding with a strong emphasis on architectural changes that address tech debt and increase developer productivity.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to determine team's roadmap and vision, and manage execution against that roadmap
• Ensure the performance, quality, and security of applications, adhering to industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Encourage innovation, teamwork, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and outside-of-the-box thinking

Qualifications & Experience:

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience of leading a technical team
• Strong experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused development environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability, resiliency, and ability to thrive in ambiguity
• Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: React, React Native, Java, Azure, Terraform, Github actions
• Start-up experience as an added plus
