We are looking for a Technical Instructional Developer to expand our Training Program and make LMI Technologies the thought leader in machine vision. This role will create new technical course content for our existing technical training program, while bringing new ideas to expand and improve the program.Our ideal candidate will leverage previous experience in machine vision to develop training material for LMI.You will be reporting to the Training Program Manager and working collaboratively alongside our Training Coordinator andVideographer to take complex concepts and turn them into clear and accessible training materials.Sitting through ambiguous, long winded training presentations is like nails on a chalkboard to you.
The Technical Instructional Developer will also participate actively with LMI staff to provide training expertise in projects to address training, planning, implementation, development, delivery and other training services. You will assist the Training Program Manager to provide subject matter expertise and feedback to internal LMI SME’s regarding training needs, course content and delivery methods as well as advise on learning content for a variety of delivery methods including instructor-led classroom training, videos, eLearning, mixed media programs, virtual training and other digital instructional technologies.
Salary Range: $86,000 CAD to $96,900 CAD + Eligibility for Profit Sharing Program Participation (pending successful completion of probationary period and based on business performance)
