Qualifications

Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, the Technical Illustrator Illustrates Network Diagrams, infographics, Iconography, and some graphic illustrations. They will learn and use tools such as Content Management Systems, and Publishing Tools and will be required to maintain and implement brand and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Technical Writers and SMEs to create illustrations for user manuals, install guides, product specs, and more.
• Designing diagrams like network schematics, flowcharts, exploded views, and hardware visuals.
• Ensuring all visuals align with brand and style guidelines.
• Revising illustrations based on feedback and keeping everything up to date.
• Managing multiple illustration projects with tight deadlines.
• Exploring and using AI tools to improve illustration workflows

Qualification

• A degree in Graphic Design, Technical Illustration, Visual Communication—or equivalent
• 5+ years of experienceas aTechnical Illustrator
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Advanced Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Skills in Excel, Smartsheet, and figma useful
• Fluency in English
• Thorough understanding of resolutions and aspect ratios
• Advanced understand of graphics use in a digital platform and how different file types of work (i.e. jpg, png, svg, eps...)
• Detail oriented
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Must be able to work Independently
