The Position:
  1. Grow and profitably maintain Henkel’s (Loctite) General Industrial Adhesive Technologies business in the area from East GTA (North York, Richmond Hill, Markham) to Central East Ontario (Port Perry, Bancroft, Oshawa to Kingston).
  2. Prospect for new business opportunities at existing and targeted OEM/MRO accounts.
  3. Travel within the specified territory. Approximately 25% overnight travel required.
What you’ll do
  1. Sell OEM/MRO products, determine customer needs at existing and new accounts. Develop new value-added opportunities to grow our sales and market presence.
  2. Establish a Territory Business Plan to create tactics that will ensure growth of key/target markets and customers in the territory.
  3. Implement Time and Territory Management techniques such as monthly reports and distributor partnership plans to meet dollar-producing objectives on a monthly/quarterly cycle.
  4. Learn and implement sales skills training as outlined in Henkel Training.
  5. Implement marketing programs and provide feedback to the marketing department to meet market needs.
  6. Motivate, educate, and close business in group situations such as OEM/MRO seminars and Customer Training Schools with end customers.
  7. Train, work with, and motivate our distribution channel partners to sell Henkel products and solutions.
  8. Assume responsibility for other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
  9. Operate within the approved expense plan.
