Job summary

Altis Technology in Toronto, ON, is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to guide delivery of enterprise IT solutions in a large public sector environment. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure secure, scalable architectures.

You will oversee design, coding, integration, and technical walkthroughs, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT systems development experience within complex, multi-platform and multi-tier environments.
• Advanced experience with Java/JEE technologies, JSP/Servlet, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Oracle RDBMS/PL/SQL, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, .NET, LDAP, PKI, VPN, Solaris, and Windows Server.
• Strong full-stack systems analysis, architecture, design, coding, integration, debugging, refactoring, and optimization expertise.
• Experience with development and design tools such as MS Visio, PowerDesigner, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Atom, and Visual Studio Code.
• Proven experience leading enterprise IT projects, technical teams, solution design reviews, code walkthroughs, work estimation, and concurrent assignments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, ITIL practices, architecture standards, security, and privacy requirements.
• Excellent consulting, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills, with public sector experience considered a strong asset.
