Title: Technical Business Analyst - Wealth Management

The Technical Business Specialist Advisory role bridges business, technology, and user requirements, focusing on systems supporting GWMS-Portfolio Management. The role aims to maximize business value for Wealth Advisors and BAU operations by supporting applications and optimizing products to meet strategic and enterprise goals, while maximizing ROI. Collaboration with stakeholders to elicit requirements aligned with enterprise goals and industry trends into an actionable product roadmap is key. The role involves close work with developers, QA teams, and understanding the technology stack to support decision-making. The candidate should have expertise in business and process analysis and a strong technical background, working with end users, operations, support teams, and vendors throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize the product backlog, including new features, refactoring, and defect fixes.
  • Support solutions for Wealth Management applications related to Portfolio Management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through system enhancements.
  • Coordinate stakeholder feedback for product enhancements.
  • Break down projects into prioritized, deliverable components.
  • Have expertise in PL/SQL, Java, Talend, and DataStage.
  • Translate business requirements for development, QA, and change management.
  • Coordinate with various delivery teams during project execution.
  • Work with development and QA teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Assist during user acceptance testing cycles.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of GWMS-Portfolio Management products.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with large program initiatives involving technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and software tools.
  • Background in PL/SQL and ETL tools.
  • Experience in Wealth Management domain is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
