Calling all Technical Business Analysts!

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a high-impact modernization project on a contract (6-months) in Downtown Toronto.

Who You Are:

• Detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong ability to bridge business needs with IT solutions
• Experienced in translating complex requirements into actionable insights
• Proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communicator, capable of working closely with stakeholders and technical teams
• Eager to contribute to high-impact projects and drive business success
• Hybrid (2-3 days per week required in the office)
• Contract Length: 6-Months, with the possibility of extension (must be incorporated)

What You'll Do (Your Superpowers):

• Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for software development projects using MS Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project goals and scope
• Work with Developers, QA Analysts, and Project Managers to lead requirements-gathering sessions, design solutions, and provide technical guidance
• Identify and address process inefficiencies, recommending improvements and controls
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and draft progress reports
• Maintain system protocols by updating procedures and tracking requirement changes
• Utilize MS SQL and Optimus queries to extract data analytics that support requirements gathering
• Support administration of processes, reporting, investigation, analysis, design, development, and testing requirements for projects and system updates

What We're Looking For (Our Wishlist):

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on software development projects
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience with programming languages, web technologies, and database systems
• Experience with MS Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools like Jira)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and explain complex process flows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO, CDMP, and ITIL certifications are considered assets
• Experience executing projects in the mortgage/loan/lending industry would be considered an asset
