Job description

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven and dedicated professional with strong design and coding capabilities, responsible for building surveillance models in collaboration with the Risk and Compliance teams. This role requires thorough knowledge of the SDLC lifecycle, covering software design, back-end and front-end development, and DevOps automation. The individual will work closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, implement models, and perform testing in a fast-paced Agile environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to excel in a dynamic team setting are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and prepare Business Requirements Documents, including Agile user stories, proof-of-concept models, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze datasets to identify data gaps and coordinate with cross-functional teams to address them.
• Liaise with development teams to ensure products align with specifications.
• Conduct Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and create/execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plans.
• Create and manage project plans and elevate delays to program lead.

• Experience with IT project management, SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum), and BDD.
• Knowledge of trades data, positions data, and reference data.
• Experience working with Nasdaq SMARTS platform.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
