Qualifications

• At least 2 years of information technology experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience eliciting, documenting and translating requirements into specs, user stories and use cases.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
• General banking and information technology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support redesign of the functional architecture for SWIFT messaging and sanctions filtering to enable continuous operations.
• Elicit, analyze and document business requirements; translate into specifications, user stories and use cases.
• Create end-to-end data flows for new products, including interfaces and features.
• Define test strategy and coordinate end-to-end testing with relevant teams.
• Document architecture and maintenance procedures; ensure governance.
• Coordinate stakeholders, track delivery and propose decisions and solutions.
• Provide regular progress reporting to Project Manager and Team Manager.

As part of its USD Liquidity Acceleration Plan, we are enhancing its core messaging and sanctions-filtering infrastructure to support continuous 24/7 operations. The initiative includes instant payments, Request for Payment, and other payment, clearing, and settlement programs.

Key responsibilities

• Support the redesign of the functional architecture for SWIFT messaging and sanctions filtering to enable continuous operations.
• Elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements, and translate them into detailed specifications, user stories and use cases.
• Create end-to-end data flows for new products, including user interfaces, system interfaces and application features.
• Define the test strategy and coordinate end-to-end testing activities with relevant teams.
• Document the new architecture and the related maintenance and support procedures.
• Coordinate stakeholders, track delivery activities and proactively recommend decisions and solutions.
• Provide regular progress reporting to the Project Manager and Team Manager.

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant information technology experience.
• Technical and functional experience supporting or deploying software applications and data-flow solutions, ideally within payments and cash management.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, requirements elicitation and analysis, stakeholder management and end-to-end test coordination.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative and produce clear, structured documentation.
• Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
• General banking and information technology knowledge.

Preferred experience

• Experience with USD payment processing, settlement and clearing.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, Fedwire, CHIPS, Fedline, FIN, FIN+, CBPR+, ISO 20022, APIs and sanctions-filtering solutions.

Work conditions and compliance

• In-office presence is required at least 3 days per week, including at least one Monday or Friday.
• The remote working location must be within the province of Quebec.
• The candidate must be legally eligible to work in the Greater Montreal area and hold a valid work permit, if applicable.
• Consultants must use client-provided equipment, approved software, and authorized communication channels.
• Compliance with the client’s security, confidentiality, and regulatory policies is an essential part of the assignment.
