This technical leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of content delivery networks, video origins and packagers, cloud computing, security, software architecture, DevOps, and a proven ability to design, implement, and maintain highly complex, large-scale solutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can independently drive initiatives, mentor others, and contribute significantly to the overall success of our technology strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and analyze business drivers and requirements to design and develop future-state architecture capabilities for complex and large-scale solutions.Lead the design and development of resilient, sophisticated and scalable solution architectures, ensuring alignment with business needs and long-term technology vision.Select and recommend appropriate technologies and tools, justifying choices based on technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and future scalability.Integrate diverse components of complex, large-scale solutions, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance.Oversee the deployment of complex solution architectures, managing risks and ensuring a smooth transition to production environments.Provide architectural leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to drive long-term roadmaps, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Proactively identify and address complex technical challenges, implementing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions, resolving escalated issues and ensuring system stability.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.Decisive Problem Solver:?Proactively addresses complex challenges with immediate and effective action.
