Job summary
Long View Systems, a leading North American IT provider, seeks a Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Architect to define and lead the technical architecture across diverse industries.
You will design scalable integrations, guide pre-sales, and mentor developers while collaborating with solution architects and delivery teams to maximize business value and minimize technical debt.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- 5+ years designing enterprise ERP technical architectures.
- Multiple full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
- Deep expertise with AL Development, Extensions, AppSource Applications, BC APIs, Web Services.
- Strong understanding of BC Architecture, Azure Architecture, Integration Patterns, Security Models.
- Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
- Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Git, Automated Deployments, Testing Frameworks.
- Experience producing Technical Design Documents, Architecture Diagrams, Integration Specifications.
- Consulting, facilitation, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops.
- Design end-to-end Business Central technical architectures.
- Define application extensibility strategies using AL Extensions, AppSource, Custom Apps, Event-Based Architecture.
- Architect integrations between Business Central and external apps.
- Design secure and scalable data integration patterns using APIs, Web Services, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid.
- Lead technical solution reviews and code governance.
- Define development standards, branching, release management and DevOps processes.
- Provide guidance on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor developers and contribute to technical practice development.
- Stay current on BC, Copilot, AI, Power Platform and Microsoft Cloud advancements.

We are looking for an experienced and technically drivenDynamics 365 Business Central Technical Architectto join our Data & Dynamics team.
Leveraging your expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central, AL development, integrations, Azure services, Power Platform, and Microsoft cloud technologies, you will define and lead the technical architecture for business transformation initiatives across a diverse range of industries.
You will work closely with clients, Functional Architects, Solution Architects, Developers, and delivery teams to design secure, scalable, supportable, and future-ready solutions that maximize business value while minimizing technical debt.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide leadership throughout the entire solution lifecycle from pre-sales through design, implementation, deployment, and support transition.

Expected Salary Range plus 15% variable earnings
