Job summary
Long View seeks an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Architect to lead the technical architecture for ERP transformations across industries. You will collaborate with clients and delivery teams to design secure, scalable, and future-ready Business Central solutions.
Responsibilities include leading architecture workshops, defining integration patterns across BC, Power Platform, and Azure, and guiding CI/CD, security, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
- 5+ years designing enterprise ERP technical architectures.
- Multiple full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects.
- Deep expertise with AL Development, Extensions, AppSource Applications, Business Central APIs, Web Services, Azure Integration Services.
- Strong understanding of Business Central Application Architecture, Azure Architecture, Integration Patterns, Security Models, Performance Optimization.
- Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps methodologies; hands-on with Azure DevOps, Git, Automated Deployments, Testing Frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops.
- Design and govern end-to-end Business Central technical architectures.
- Define application extensibility strategies leveraging AL Extensions, AppSource Solutions, Custom Applications, Event-Based Architecture.
- Architect integrations between Business Central and Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Fabric, E-Commerce Platforms, Payroll Systems, Banking Platforms, Third-Party Business Applications.
- Design secure and scalable data integration patterns using APIs, Web Services, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid.
- Lead technical solution reviews and code governance activities; define development standards and release management.

We are looking for an experienced and technically driven Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Architect to join our Data & Dynamics team.
Leveraging your expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central, AL development, integrations, Azure services, Power Platform, and Microsoft cloud technologies, you will define and lead the technical architecture for business transformation initiatives across a diverse range of industries.
You will work closely with clients, Functional Architects, Solution Architects, Developers, and delivery teams to design secure, scalable, supportable, and future-ready solutions that maximize business value while minimizing technical debt.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide leadership throughout the entire solution lifecycle from pre-sales through design, implementation, deployment, and support transition.

- Participate in pre-sales activities including estimates, architecture reviews, technical demonstrations, Statements of Work, and solution planning
- Mentor developers and consultants while contributing to technical practice development
- Stay current on Business Central, Copilot, AI, Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft Cloud platform advancements
