Gilder Search Group in Red Deer, Alberta seeks an Intern Architect or Registered Architect to join a medium-sized firm focused on multi-family wood-frame, commercial, and retail projects. The role emphasizes technical production, detailing, and collaboration with design development, CA, and client liaison.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership potential, and a passion for architecture.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Architecture preferred; other educational backgrounds may be considered
• Be an intern or registered Architect with AAA preferably, though technical candidates will be considered
• Proven track record with projects in commercial, multi-family and retail sectors or interest to work in these industries
• Strong technical skills and passion for the technical side of architecture
• Experience with SketchUp, Vectorworks, AuotCAD, and REVIT are assets
• Detail-oriented with entrepreneurial mindset to develop a team and lead projects
• High energy, innovative thinking and leadership, with ability to drive design and execution
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
