Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead - Application Development to lead design and delivery of cutting-edge AI-enabled platforms in a hybrid Canada role. You’ll drive infra, security, and automation across cloud and on-prem environments, leveraging Python, Linux, and container orchestration to scale complex web-based applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or equivalent.
• Professional certifications listed in the job posting (Azure, ISTQB, Oracle, etc.) are desirable.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern security practices is required.

Responsibilities

• Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux/Unix, storage and networking.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers, web servers (Apache/Nginx), and Tomcat for app integration and troubleshooting.
• Expert Python and Shell scripting; automation with Ansible/Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, Flux) and source control.
• Security hardening, transport encryption, and modern SSO mechanisms.
• Cloud familiarity (Azure or AWS), Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL; graph DBs and SPARQL knowledge is a plus.
