Job summary

Multimatic in Markham, Ontario is seeking a hands-on Siemens Teamcenter specialist to expand Active Workspace deployment across the organization. This on-site role focuses on configuring, extending, and maintaining Teamcenter Active Workspace, working with engineers who understand design workflows but not the underlying architecture.

Responsibilities include BMIDE data modeling, XRT styling, deployments across environments, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter in a production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of BMIDE and Teamcenter data model concepts.
• Direct experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace configuration and administration.
• Experience editing Active Workspace stylesheets (XRT) or UI configuration.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter Dispatcher Client and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with others while making technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear patterns for configuration, data modeling, and deployment.
• Configure and maintain the Teamcenter data model using BMIDE.
• Test changes to ensure deployment without impacting existing setup.
• Manage deployments across environments with changelogs.
• Edit and maintain Active Workspace stylesheets (XRT).
• Explain system design decisions to engineers.
• Produce documentation and run books to avoid tribal knowledge.
