Job summary

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract.
  • Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within the past year).
  • Ability to safely perform hand-bombing and loading.
  • Experience securing loads with chains and straps.
  • 1 year of Canada-wide driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across regional lanes Western Canada.
  • Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Western Canada in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Operate equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards.
  • Transport general freight in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report issues promptly.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation (e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork).
  • Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain flexibility for variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required.

We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in their work, consistently deliver high-quality service, and can operate safely and professionally in a fast-paced environment while representing the company.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across regional lanes Western Canada
  • Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Western Canada in a safe, timely, and professional manner
  • Operate equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards
  • Transport general freight in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
  • Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
  • Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required
Core Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license
  • Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
  • Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within the past year)
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions
  • Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach
  • Minimum 1year of verifiable Class 1
  • Experience securing loads using chains and straps in all weather conditions
  • 1 year of Canada-wide driving experience
  • Mountain driving experience required
  • Previous experience operating specialized equipment, including tailgates, forklifts, power and manual pallet jacks, pump trucks, or Moffett's
  • Ability to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required
