Mixer/Scaler

Summary

Reporting to the Line Leader and Operations Leader, the Team Member – Mixer/Scaler will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients to produce a consistent product that meets all production needs and standards set forth by FGF.

You will work in a team environment led by a Team Leader, supporting teamwork and respecting fellow Team Members.

Primary Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients in the mixing area according to batch lists and schedules, including weighing and measuring
• Documenting lot code identification numbers
• Following precise batch measurements for specialized batter production
• Taking measurements as directed by Shift/Operations Leader
• Operating mixing machinery and equipment safely and following safety guidelines
• Using tools (scales, thermometers, knives) safely and efficiently
• Reporting equipment malfunctions or quality issues
• Following OMS procedures, including inventory entry
• Maintaining cleanliness in the work environment by cleaning floors and disposing of waste
• Adhering to GMPs, Food Safety, and Health and Safety Procedures
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably bakery
• Attention to detail and ability to detect quality issues
• Good communication and basic math skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of lifting 25 kg
• Ability to switch tasks with minimal distraction
• Flexibility to work days, afternoons, nights, and weekends as needed
