Base pay range

CA$65,000.00/yr - CA$70,000.00/yr

The Opportunity: Reporting directly to our Associate Director, our new Team Manager, Account Manager for our G&E branch will lead and support a team of Account Managers dedicated to talent management. This role is crucial for ensuring Account Managers excel in their responsibilities, which include managing high-profile partnerships, developing sophisticated digital strategies, and fostering our talents' growth in both their careers and personal brand development.

As a Team Manager, you will provide ongoing guidance and training, promoting best practices in client management and cross-functional collaboration. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities, strategic insight, superior communication and organizational skills, and, most importantly, a profound understanding of the influencer landscape.

Scope of Work: Team Management (70%)

  • Conduct weekly team meetings to review project statuses and discuss strategic initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance team performance.
  • Manage quarterly and annual performance reviews, setting clear objectives and growth plans.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture to address HR matters and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Supervise your team’s engagement with talents, providing guidance and fostering positive collaborations throughout and beyond campaigns.
  • Ensure your team builds and sustains strong relationships with brand representatives, aligning strategies with their marketing goals.
  • Guide your team in applying social media insights and emerging trends to elevate content strategies and client campaigns.
  • Encourage collaboration across departments, ensuring your team effectively partners with agents and talent services to enhance overall campaign success.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with your team, fostering a continuous learning culture and maintaining a competitive edge.
Account Management (30%)
  • Oversee and execute negotiated partnerships from start to finish, ensuring all contractual terms are met and project milestones are achieved as planned.
  • Track performance by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) and present comprehensive reports at the end of each partnership, detailing successes, challenges, and key insights to inform future strategies.
  • Actively participate in talents’ agency experience by engaging in their onboarding, quarterly planning, and other key activities.
  • Manage inbound PR requests, handle interview requests, respond to mailers, and process event invitations.
  • Contribute to outbound strategies, including talent sourcing, outreach, interview pitching, talent gifting, event responses, and new brand pitch calls.
  • Attend on-site production days and talent events, providing on-site support to guarantee successful collaborations.
Profile:
  • 4 to 6 years in influencer marketing, talent management, or PR, within an agency or in-house setup.
  • Experience managing teams, providing guidance, motivation, and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Proven success in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Managed high-budget influencer partnerships and built strong client relationships.
  • Worked with cross-functional teams to create integrated digital strategies.
  • Led influencer campaigns from planning to execution, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and multitask.
  • High organizational proficiency in managing tasks, timelines, and priorities.
  • Solid understanding of influencer marketing and social media KPIs, metrics and industry benchmarks and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field preferred.
