Job summary

Croesus is seeking a Team Leader to guide our software engineering team and drive technical excellence in our wealth management platform.

You will lead, mentor, and coordinate delivery across design, development, testing, and deployment while aligning with product priorities. Fluency in French is mandatory; 10+ years in software with 5 in leadership and financial sector exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

The working language is French; perfect command of French (oral and written) is mandatory.
Bachelor or equivalent: BAC/AEC in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years in software development, including 5 years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).
Experience in the financial sector is a major asset.

Responsibilities

Leadership and supervision of the software team; coach, motivate, and evaluate performance.
Technical contribution across design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and priorities; manage workloads with Product Manager; ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Your Role as Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will play an essential role in the success of our software engineering projects. You will provide leadership and development for a talented team while actively participating in their technical deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

Leadership and Supervision

Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve a high level of performance.
Manage schedules, evaluate performance, and identify training and development needs.
Actively participate in the recruitment and integration of new talent.
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, and promote transparent communication.
Set individual and collective goals aligned with the company's vision.

Technical Contribution

Contribute your expertise by participating in the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our platform.
Ensure that peer reviews are executed according to company standards.
Stay up-to-date on new technologies, best practices, and market trends.
Propose innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the team's work.

Project Management

Collaborate with stakeholders to define the team's objectives and priorities.
Estimate workloads and plan activities in collaboration with the Product Manager.
Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure delivery on time and within budget, in compliance with established standards and processes.

Requirements

Education And Experience

Technical Skills

Bilingualism (French and English) (essential).
Proficiency with IT tools (Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite).
Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
Knowledge of .Net platforms.
Experience with agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and knowledge of good development practices (unit testing, continuous integration).
Understanding of software architecture principles.
