AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Transportation Infrastructure Team Lead to shape Alberta's future.

Based in Calgary, you will lead a growing team and deliver road and highway projects for City of Calgary, City of Edmonton, and Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors (ATEC). You will combine leadership, client engagement, business growth, and project delivery to advance infrastructure programs, mentor staff, and maintain quality while managing scope, schedule and budget

Formación

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA
• 12+ years of transportation infrastructure engineering experience (roads/highways)
• 5+ years of leadership experience as Team Lead, Discipline Lead, Design Lead, Deputy PM, or PM
• Experience in staff supervision, resource planning, client relationship management, project delivery and business development
• Proficiency in CAD and Civil 3D; willingness to travel within Canada

Job Description

Join AtkinsRéalis as a Transportation Infrastructure Team Lead and help shape the future of transportation across Alberta. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop transportation engineering teams through recruitment, performance management, resource planning, and staff development.


• Manage transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.


• Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, resource allocation, and profitability.


• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects while coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.


• Support business growth through client relationship management, proposal preparation, mentoring, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.


• 12+ years of transportation infrastructure engineering experience, including road and highway design and delivery.


• 5+ years of leadership experience as a Team Lead, Discipline Lead, Design Lead, Deputy Project Manager, or Project Manager.


• Experience in staff supervision, resource planning, client relationship management, project delivery, and business development.


• Proficiency in TAC Geometric Design Guidelines, Alberta Transportation Highway Geometric Design Guide, CAD, and Civil 3D software, with willingness to travel within Canada.
