Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for the full-time, permanent position of Team Lead, Business Analysts, in the Project Management Office of Information Technology.

This role leads a team of Senior Business Analysts delivering across the IT project portfolio, ensuring high-quality business cases, requirements, and process improvements to support informed decision-making and portfolio success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, Business Admin, or Public Admin.
• MBA or CBAP/PMI-PBA asset.
• 8+ years as senior BA in complex IT/public sector.
• 3+ years managerial experience leading BAs.
• 5+ years BA in complex IT environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of Senior Business Analysts, including performance management and professional development recommendations.
• Participate in hiring and recruitment and provide orientation to new BAs.
• In collaboration with PMO leadership, assign and prioritize BA work across projects and initiatives.
• Ensure BA work supports project delivery timelines and outcomes.
• Support governance bodies with analysis, insights, and recommendations.
• Identify systemic issues or gaps and recommend improvements.
