Job Description

Vention is looking for a Mechanical Assembler Team Lead to join our dynamic Operations team! In this leadership role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality sub-assemblies and productized applications, as well as guiding and supporting the assembly team to ensure efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. If you have a strong mechanical mindset, enjoy hands-on work, and are passionate about leading a team in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the mechanical assembly team to meet production goals and uphold Vention’s high standards.
• Assemble a variety of components, from simple to complex, including palletizers, conveyors, robot cells, machine tending applications, and safety enclosures based on engineering instructions.
• Build and integrate automation components to complete custom automation designs.
• Conduct quality control checks before shipping to ensure all products meet Vention's high standards.
• Oversee and coordinate team workflows, ensuring tasks are assigned effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Pick and pack orders in accordance with Vention's quality standards.
• Identify and report discrepancies or missing information to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Support team members in troubleshooting mechanical or process-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing integration and warehouse processes.
• Update internal systems with assembly details to ensure accurate tracking.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Technical diploma in mechanical engineering, robotics, or relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with using tools.
• Experience with data entry or relevant administrative tasks.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail to uphold customer satisfaction and product quality.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
