Descripción del empleo

Team Lead, Lifecycle Marketing Automation Projects

Are you an experienced project manager who can turn complex marketing, data, and technology initiatives into successful outcomes? If you’re organized, confident managing competing priorities, and skilled at bringing teams together, Go Auto has an exciting opportunity for you.

Reporting to the Manager of Database Marketing & Automations, you will lead cross‑functional projects from planning through launch. Working with marketing, creative, data, technology, and business teams, you will manage timelines, resources, priorities, and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Experience with CRM, database marketing, and automation platforms such as Iterable, Klaviyo, Marketo, or Braze will help you identify risks, solve challenges, and deliver effective solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead database marketing, CRM, and automation initiatives from discovery and planning through implementation, launch, and post-project review.
  • Planning & Delivery: Define project scope, objectives, requirements, milestones, timelines, resource needs, dependencies, and success measures; maintain clear project documentation and drive work to completion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships across marketing, creative, data, technology, operations, vendors, and business leadership. Facilitate decisions, clarify ownership, and provide concise updates tailored to each audience.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, constraints, and competing priorities early; develop mitigation plans, manage change, resolve roadblocks, and elevate appropriately when decisions are required.
  • Requirements & Quality: Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria. Coordinate reviews, testing, approvals, launch readiness, and handoffs to ensure solutions are accurate, compliant, and sustainable.
  • Content Proofing & Quality Assurance: Proofreading and quality assurance of copy, emails, customer journeys, and related campaign assets, ensuring content, links, personalization, segmentation, formatting, and end‑to‑end experiences are accurate before launch.
  • Marketing Automation Projects: Guide projects involving automated customer journeys, audience segmentation, data integrations, campaign operations, database health, and process automation across Email, SMS, Push, and In‑App channels.
  • Governance & Process Improvement: Establish practical project standards, intake processes, status reporting, decision logs, and repeatable workflows that improve visibility, accountability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Partner with subject matter experts to define performance measures, review outcomes, capture lessons learned and recommend improvements based on data and business impact.
What You Bring:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Project Management, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience managing cross‑functional projects, ideally within database marketing, CRM, marketing automation, digital marketing, or a technology‑enabled business environment.
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with clear scope, schedules, dependencies, budgets or resource constraints, risks, decisions, and executive‑ready reporting.
  • Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Iterable, Klaviyo, Marketo, or Braze; CRM systems; customer data and segmentation; digital campaign workflows; and data quality or compliance considerations.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable partnering with technical and analytical teams and working with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, project management platforms, Google Analytics, or Power BI. Familiarity with HTML, JSON, APIs, or SQL is an asset.
  • Judgment & Maturity: Sound judgment, professionalism, and composure when navigating ambiguity, sensitive information, shifting priorities, and difficult trade‑offs. You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and know when to resolve an issue independently or elevate it.
  • Communication & Influence: Clear, confident written and verbal communication with the ability to facilitate productive discussions, challenge assumptions respectfully, align diverse stakeholders, and present recommendations to leaders.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail: A disciplined approach to planning, documentation, follow‑up, quality control, and prioritization, combined with the flexibility to adapt as business needs evolve.
The Perks:
  • Extra Vacation: 3 weeks, then an additional week after 5 and 10 years with Go Auto
  • Health Benefits: Health care and dental (80% - 100%), plus a health spending account
  • Employee Investment Program: It guarantees you at least a 10% return every year.
  • Employee Savings: An employee purchase program for all Go Auto vehicles and between 15-30% savings on car insurance.
  • Growth Opportunities: Upward mobility through Go Auto’s many business operations.
  • In‑House Lunch Program: Food made by in‑house red seal chefs, delivered to you daily (Edmonton ONLY).
