Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring an HR Service Centre Team Lead to coach a team of HR Service Centre Coordinators while handling day-to-day HR service delivery across Canada and the United States. The role blends individual contribution with leadership in a fast-paced environment.

You'll drive employee inquiries, data updates, onboarding, and process improvements, partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, and stakeholders to sustain high service standards and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of HR experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Employee Services, or a similar HR support environment.
  • Experience as a Team Lead, Senior Coordinator, or in another role providing day-to-day coaching and support to a team.
  • Strong customer service skills and a practical, people-focused approach.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Sound judgement and a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to address issues constructively.
  • Ability to balance individual responsibilities, shifting priorities, and team support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus points if you're bilingual in English and French!

  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex or non-standard inquiries.
  • Support onboarding and training for new team members and reinforce standard processes and service expectations.
  • Complete quality checks, identify recurring issues, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Maintain procedures, templates, checklists, and knowledge resources.
  • Work with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and support process or system changes.

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

A working Team Lead role for someone who can coach and support others while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR service delivery.

We're hiring an HR Service Centre Team Lead to help deliver exceptional HR support for our operations across Canada and the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a hands-on role that combines individual contribution with day-to-day team leadership. You’ll manage your own HR service responsibilities while coaching and supporting a team of HR Service Centre Coordinators. You’ll help the team prioritize work, resolve more complex inquiries, maintain service standards, and deliver a positive employee experience.
