Transat Tours Canada Inc. in Dorval, QC, is seeking a leader to coordinate a team of Ground Equipment Mechanics responsible for maintaining Air Transat’s ground support equipment and vehicles.

Reporting to the Manager, Ground Equipment Maintenance, you will supervise daily operations, ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards, and drive timely completion of tasks in a busy airport environment. Formación

• Relevant training and/or experience in ground support equipment maintenance.
• Minimum of five years in maintenance and repair of ground support equipment.
• Experience as sheet metal worker, aircraft sheet metal technician, or MIG welder is an asset.
• Strong teamwork, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and time and priority management abilities.
• Knowledge of propane-powered, electric, diesel, and gasoline-powered equipment is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and a Transport Canada DA Permit.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French and English.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of a team of Ground Equipment Mechanics.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on Air Transat’s ground support equipment and vehicles.
• Ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure work is completed within established timelines and according to operational priorities.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Perform any other related duties as required.
